Description | There a some timing issues and a graphicle glitch during the tutorial. There are also some inconsistancies. 1. The short range scan is accompanied by text to speach. Medium and long range do not. 2. The tutorial does not wait for the scan to complete before assuming that it has. 3. At the Helm, when traveling to our nav point, there is a point when the distance on the hud goes a way, then there is a weird screen glitch prior to the actual target planet starting to come in to view. 4. Various minor timing issues that you'd need to see for yourself. Suggestion, when pointing out a screen location, the blinking highlight is a bit much. I would suggest slowing down the flash to 1 flash per second, with softer fadein and out. It will be plenty visible while also being less anxiety generating. | ||||

Fixed for 0.225.0.98 1. All 3 sensor modes will eventually have full dialogue. The lack of it is because it's not done yet, not because of a bug. 2. Fixed - The tutorial will not proceed until the scans are finished. 3. The Glitch/Jump you see when passing the 0.5ly point when approaching a star system is part of how the galaxy-gen works. It will be improved over time. 4. We'll continue to polish as we go. The blinking highlight can only be on or off due to an engine limitation, it cannot fade gracefully. I will look at the timing though. |
